This page helps people discover and connect with organisations across the ecosystem. Each organisation curates its own profile, helping others understand who they are, what they do, where they work, and the expertise and services they bring to the sector. As a community-led resource, it will grow and evolve through your input. We facilitate updates and improvements, helping keep information current, useful and accessible for the broader ecosystem. STREAT is a leading Work Integration Social Enterprise with a decade supporting youth aged 16-24, 36% from CALD communities. STREAT offers supported work readiness and employment pathway programs for disadvantaged young people facing barriers, aged 16-24 whose primary goal is to work. Our program is individually tailored and wrap around, including case management, work-readiness training, contextualised language training/support, extensive work experience across STREAT’s businesses (cafes, kiosks, bakery, catering, farms, gardens), and transition support into a real job (on average over 1,000hrs of support across a year).

The Sydney Social Sciences and Humanities Advanced Research Centre (SSSHARC) uses innovative and collaborative approaches to problem solving within the humanities and social sciences and beyond. Example projects include Reimagining the Queer Classroom, which brings together researchers in sexuality studies to develop queer-led classroom concepts; Beyond Consent: Gender and Sexuality Norms, a collaboration with Consent Labs to create school programs aimed at preventing gendered violence by examining gender and sexuality norms; and Games Methodology for Complex Issues through the SQUIGGLE project, which uses tabletop games to foster gender inclusivity and transformative interpersonal exchange.
